Pipedrive review (2026): price, web forms and connecting your website
The short answer
Pipedrive is a pipeline-first sales CRM for small teams, from $14 a seat a month billed yearly (Lite) to $79 (Ultimate); Pipedrive doesn't publish its month-to-month prices. It has no website builder, and its web forms and chat come only with Premium ($59) and Ultimate or the LeadBooster add-on. One seat of Lite with LeadBooster plus a WordPress site comes to $2,106.60 over 3 years. Pick it if your team lives in a deal pipeline; skip it if you want a free plan or a CRM that also builds your site.
What Pipedrive is and who it’s for
Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around one screen: the pipeline. A CRM (customer relationship management tool) keeps your leads and customers in one place, with the notes, emails and tasks for each one. In Pipedrive, each possible sale is a deal card that you drag across stages such as contacted, quoted and won. The company started in Estonia in 2010 and is now based in New York.
This Pipedrive review focuses on what a small business with a website needs to know: the real 3-year cost, how leads get from your site into Pipedrive, and what you keep if you leave. We built it from Pipedrive’s pricing page, help center and terms, not from our own testing, and we have no affiliate deal with Pipedrive.
Pipedrive is right for small sales teams that work deal by deal, and for businesses that already have a site on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace and want form leads to land in a pipeline. It has no website, landing page or blog builder.
Plans and prices
Pipedrive charges per seat. A seat is one paid user login, and Pipedrive bills each seat “whether it’s assigned to a user or not.” Pipedrive states no minimum seat count, so you can start with one. The pricing page shows only billed-yearly prices and says yearly billing saves “up to 42%.” Pipedrive doesn’t publish its month-to-month prices, so we don’t quote them here.
| Plan | Per seat a month, billed yearly | Per seat a year | Leads + deals cap | Web forms and chat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $14 | $168 | 2,500 per user | Add-on |
| Growth | $39 | $468 | 5,000 per user | Add-on |
| Premium | $59 | $708 | 15,000 per company | Included |
| Ultimate | $79 | $948 | Not stated | Included |
Every plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card. There’s no free plan. Prices exclude sales tax.
- Lite: lead, calendar and pipeline management, AI report creation, 500+ integrations and API access.
- Growth adds full email sync with open and click tracking, automations (rules that do a task for you, such as assigning a new lead) and nurturing sequences, a meeting scheduler and live chat support.
- Premium adds LeadBooster (web forms, chatbot, live chat and the Prospector lead tool), lead scoring and routing, contracts and e-signatures, and Projects.
- Ultimate adds security rules and alerts, phone and email data enrichment, a sandbox account and extended phone support.
Add-ons: LeadBooster is sold as an add-on on Lite and Growth, listed from $32.50 per company a month billed yearly on Pipedrive’s web-forms page. Campaigns (email marketing) and Web Visitors are paid add-ons on every plan, but Pipedrive doesn’t publish their US dollar prices. No base plan includes email newsletters.
Which plan fits? For a team of one or two, Lite is enough if you send leads in through a connector. Growth is the first plan with email tracking and automations, which most sales teams want once follow-ups start to pile up. Premium makes sense when you want Pipedrive’s own forms and chat without an add-on, or when you need e-signatures and lead scoring.
What it really costs over 3 years
We count 36 months at the billed-yearly price. For the website we use the same two baselines as the rest of this site:
- WordPress on Bluehost Starter: $432.60. Hosting is $3.99 x 36 = $143.64 on a 36-month term (it renews at $9.99), plus $36.96 for two domain renewals after the free first year, plus $252 for one Google Workspace inbox.
- Squarespace Core or Wix Core: $1,332.96. The plan is $29 x 36 = $1,044 billed yearly, plus $36.96 for the domain and $252 for the inbox.
Pipedrive includes no domain, hosting or email inbox. LeadBooster for 3 years is $32.50 x 36 = $1,170, once per company.
1 user
| Setup | The math | CRM alone | + WordPress | + Squarespace or Wix |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $14 x 36 | $504 | $936.60 | $1,836.96 |
| Lite + LeadBooster | $504 + $1,170 | $1,674 | $2,106.60 | $3,006.96 |
| Premium | $59 x 36 | $2,124 | $2,556.60 | $3,456.96 |
3 users
| Setup | The math | CRM alone | + WordPress | + Squarespace or Wix |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | 3 x $14 x 36 | $1,512 | $1,944.60 | $2,844.96 |
| Lite + LeadBooster | $1,512 + $1,170 | $2,682 | $3,114.60 | $4,014.96 |
| Growth + LeadBooster | (3 x $39 x 36 = $4,212) + $1,170 | $5,382 | $5,814.60 | $6,714.96 |
| Premium | 3 x $59 x 36 | $6,372 | $6,804.60 | $7,704.96 |
Because LeadBooster is priced per company, it gets cheaper per person as the team grows. For one person, Lite plus LeadBooster ($1,674) costs less than Premium ($2,124). For three, Growth plus LeadBooster ($5,382) still costs less than Premium ($6,372), though Premium adds lead scoring, e-signatures and higher limits.
You can also skip LeadBooster. Lite works with Zapier and the API, so your website builder’s own form can send leads to Pipedrive through a connector. That keeps 1 seat of Lite plus WordPress at $936.60, plus whatever the connector costs.
Getting leads from your website into Pipedrive
There are three ways in: Pipedrive’s own web forms, its chat tools, and connectors.
- Web forms: a Pipedrive form can be shared as a link or embedded on your site with a snippet of code. Each submission becomes a lead or a deal. You get custom fields, file upload, styling, optional reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and removable Pipedrive branding. There’s no default consent checkbox, so add one if the form signs people up for marketing. Form and submission limits aren’t documented. Plans: Premium, Ultimate or the LeadBooster add-on (web forms help article).
- Chatbot and live chat: also part of LeadBooster, on the same plans. Web Visitors, which shows which companies visit your site, is a separate paid add-on.
- Zapier: a connector service that passes form entries between apps. Pipedrive works on Zapier’s free tier, where Zapier checks for new entries every 15 minutes, and there are ready-made templates for Wix, Squarespace Forms, Gravity Forms and Unbounce.
| Platform | Official route | Other options |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | LeadBooster Chatbot by Pipedrive plugin (needs LeadBooster); form embed code | WP Fusion, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7 (third-party) |
| Wix | No Pipedrive-built app | Zapier; the “Pipedrive” app by PURPLE (free to $30 a month) |
| Squarespace | No official app; embed the form in a code block | Zapier templates |
| Webflow | No native app on either marketplace; Code Embed (paid Webflow plan) | Zapier, Make, n8n or the API |
We build on WordPress every week, and it gives you the most choices here: Pipedrive’s own chatbot plugin, the form embed code, or the form plugin you already use plus a connector. On Wix, note that the app named “Pipedrive” in the Wix App Market is made by PURPLE, not Pipedrive; its free tier syncs 100 contacts and adds a watermark.
What you can take with you if you leave
Pipedrive doesn’t host your website, so your pages are never at risk, and your domain stays at your own domain registrar. Our exit scores rate website platforms, so Pipedrive doesn’t get one. Your CRM data is what counts.
- What exports: global admins can export leads, deals, organizations, people, products, activities, projects, notes and files as CSV or XLSX (Excel) files, plus filtered list views. The API is another route (export help article).
- What doesn’t: synced email messages aren’t listed as an export type, and Google Drive files are excluded.
- The files expire: generated exports are deleted after 28 days.
- After you cancel: Pipedrive’s terms of service say it permanently deletes your account and data within 180 days, and no clause promises an export window afterward. Export before you cancel.
Only global admins, and users an admin gives export permission, can run these exports, so make sure an admin can still log in before anyone cancels. Try one full export during the trial. If you ever move the website as well, our guide to leaving your website builder covers that side.
Gotchas
- Web forms and chat aren’t in Lite or Growth. You need Premium, Ultimate or the LeadBooster add-on.
- Empty seats still bill. Removing a seat takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle, and reductions must be made before the renewal date.
- No refunds. The terms say “All Fees are non-refundable,” and yearly plans renew for another year automatically. Price changes need one month’s notice and apply from your next renewal.
- Monthly prices aren’t on Pipedrive’s own pages. Check the month-to-month price at checkout before you choose it over yearly billing.
- Record caps on the cheaper plans: 2,500 leads and deals per user on Lite and 5,000 on Growth.
- Email marketing is extra on every plan, priced per subscriber, with no US dollar figures published.
- No official Wix, Squarespace or Webflow app. Plan on embed code or a connector.
Who should pick Pipedrive, and who should not
Pick it if your team’s day is about moving deals forward, you already have a website and want its leads in a clear pipeline, or you want to start with one seat and a 14-day trial with no card. It’s a good match for service businesses that quote jobs and follow up by phone and email.
Skip it if you want a free plan, you want the CRM to build and host your website, or you mainly send newsletters, since email marketing is a paid add-on. A team that wants forms on the cheapest plan should budget for LeadBooster or a connector.
