ClickFunnels review (2026): price, cancellation terms and what you can take with you

The short answer

ClickFunnels is a good fit for coaches and course sellers whose business runs on sales funnels, with checkout, email and courses in one account and no platform cut of sales. Launch is $97 a month billed monthly or $970 a year, $3,210.24 over three years with a domain and inbox. The catch is leaving: its January 2026 Terms give credits instead of refunds on early annual cancellations, cancelling deletes your content, and pages copy only into other ClickFunnels accounts, so it scores 3 out of 10 on our exit score.

What it is and who it’s for

ClickFunnels is a sales funnel builder from Etison LLC, based in Canton, Georgia. A funnel is a short series of pages that walks a visitor toward one action: an opt-in page, a sales page, a checkout, an upsell and a thank-you page. ClickFunnels builds those, plus a full site with a blog, stores, online courses, communities, email marketing and a light CRM (customer relationship manager, where your contacts and deals live).

It fits best when:

  • You sell courses, coaching or info products through sales funnels.
  • You want funnels, checkout, email and courses in one paid tool.
  • You sell online and don’t want a platform cut of each sale. ClickFunnels takes no percentage; your payment processor’s fees still apply.

It is a poor fit for local service businesses that mainly need a CRM with calling and texting, for anyone who wants automations on the entry plan, and for sites that may need to move to another platform later.

Plans and what they really cost

Prices are per account with a set number of team members, not per seat. There is no free plan, only a 14-day free trial. Yearly billing costs 10 times the monthly price.

PlanBilled yearlyBilled monthlyKey limits
Launch$970 a year (about $81 a month)$97 a month1 site, 2 team members, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 5 custom domains, no automations
Scale$1,970 a year (about $164 a month)$197 a month5 sites, 5 team members, 75,000 contacts, unlimited custom domains, automations, webhooks and API
Optimize$2,970 a year (about $248 a month)$297 a month10 sites, 10 team members, 150,000 contacts, advanced workflows, affiliate center
Dominate$5,997 a yearNot offered20 sites, 20 team members, 400,000 contacts, branding removal, dedicated IP

Prices are from the ClickFunnels pricing page, rechecked October 23, 2026, and unchanged since the June 2025 pricing update. Every plan lists unlimited pages and visitors, and unlimited funnels is labeled “limited time.” Older subscribers keep their legacy plans and limits, such as the 2024-2025 Startup plan at $97 a month.

A 3-year cost example

Say you’re a coach selling one course and a coaching offer on Launch, billed yearly, with a .com domain and one business inbox.

Cost3-year total
Launch plan, $970 a year x 3$2,910
.com domain, bought separately$48.24
Google Workspace, 1 inbox$252
Total$3,210.24

ClickFunnels has no mailbox hosting, so the inbox is a separate service. Domains bought inside ClickFunnels go through IONOS, and some accounts see a free-domain offer, but the terms aren’t published where we could read them, so we counted a domain. Card processing fees aren’t counted because they depend on your processor and sales; ClickFunnels adds no transaction fee of its own.

Billed monthly, the same setup is $3,792.24 over three years. If you need automations, Scale billed yearly brings it to $6,210.24. For contrast, systeme.io’s Startup plan is $17 a month billed monthly, or $612 over three years before the domain and inbox.

The contract: cancelling and refunds

Read this before you pay for a year. The ClickFunnels Terms of Service, last updated January 18, 2026, set rules that are stricter than the pricing page suggests. This is general information, not legal advice.

  • It renews until you cancel. Plans bill on a negative-option basis, meaning they keep renewing unless you act.
  • Give 10 days’ notice. Monthly and annual plans need at least 10 days’ notice by email before the next billing period, or you may be charged again.
  • No partial months. The last month is not prorated or refunded.
  • Annual plans: credit, not cash. Cancel a yearly plan early and you get no refund, only a credit toward other ClickFunnels services.
  • The discount can come back. ClickFunnels “may charge a cancellation fee equal to the amount the subscription was discounted.” On Launch, yearly billing saves $194 against 12 months at $97, so that is the possible fee; on Scale it is $394.
  • Trial timing. Trials are for new subscribers only. ClickFunnels emails a reminder at least 7 days before the first charge, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The official pages don’t say whether the trial needs a card.
The refund promises conflict. The pricing page FAQ advertises a “30-day money back guarantee.” The Terms limit 30-day refund requests to hard goods and say “All sales are deemed final.” The help center’s refund article gives a 30-day request window “subject to the Terms of Service.” They don’t say the same thing. Get any refund promise in writing before you pay.

Cancelling also deletes your work. The final button in the cancel flow reads “Cancel My Account & Delete All My Content,” and ClickFunnels doesn’t say how long it keeps content after that. The only way to keep funnels without a full plan is the Pause plan: $17 a month keeps funnels, courses and integrations stored but offline, starting at the end of your billing cycle. That is $204 a year to keep your pages from being deleted.

What you can build

Funnels and pages

Funnels, landing pages and site pages are all built in the same drag-and-drop page builder, with page and funnel templates (the count isn’t stated). A custom code editor comes with Scale, not Launch, though custom HTML pages are supported. ClickFunnels branding removal is listed only on Dominate.

A/B split tests run on funnel steps. The help center describes one variant page per step and traffic split by a slider that starts at 100/0; ClickFunnels suggests running a test for 30 days or more. The pricing table shows A/B testing on every plan.

Site, blog and SEO

The Site & Blog app supports posts with categories, drafts, scheduling and featured images. Each page and post gets its own meta title, description and URL slug for SEO. Changing a page’s URL creates an automatic forward from the old one, though the help center doesn’t say which redirect type it uses. Blog import and export aren’t documented.

Store, courses and email

You get 1 store on Launch, 5 on Scale, 10 on Optimize and 20 on Dominate, with no ClickFunnels transaction fee. Courses and communities run 3, 6, 10 and 20 by plan. Email sends are included: 50,000 a month on Launch, up to 1.2 million on Dominate. Calendars start on Scale.

CRM and automations

Launch has 1 CRM pipeline and no automations. Scale adds automations, more pipelines, calendars, webhooks and API access; Optimize adds advanced workflows. Phone calling and texting aren’t listed on the pricing page.

AI features

Each plan includes AI words: 1 million on Launch, 2 million on Scale, 5 million on Optimize and 10 million on Dominate. AI coaching is text-only on Launch and adds voice on Scale. Plans also include Message Hub agents, 2 on Launch and up to 20 on Dominate.

What happens when you leave

Exit score: 3 out of 10. Here’s how it breaks down on our exit score rubric:

PartScoreWhy
Content0 of 2No page, funnel or blog export documented
Design0 of 2Designs copy only into other ClickFunnels accounts
Code0 of 2No source export
Data1 of 2Contacts, orders and products export; pipeline export not documented
Domain2 of 2Domains sit in your own IONOS or registrar account

Funnel share links copy pages, layouts, settings and products, but only into another ClickFunnels account or workspace, and courses, themes and email templates don’t travel. Funnels from ClickFunnels Classic can’t be shared into current accounts.

Your data does leave. Contacts export with the fields you choose, including tags and custom fields, and the export can be scheduled. Orders export to CSV (Owner or Admin role), and products have their own export.

Before you cancel: export contacts, orders and products, save your page copy and images, rebuild the pages on the new platform, and point your domain there. Since cancelling deletes your content, do all of this first. Our guide to leaving a website builder walks through the order.

Gotchas

  • Launch ($97 a month) has no automations, custom code editor, webhooks or API (pricing page).
  • Launch covers 1 site and 5 custom domains, and unlimited funnels is labeled “limited time” (pricing page).
  • Dominate is annual only, at $5,997 a year, and is the only plan with branding removal (pricing page).
  • Cancelling needs 10 days’ notice by email, with no proration of the last month (Terms).
  • Early cancellation of an annual plan gives a credit, not a refund, and the discount may be charged back (Terms).
  • The 30-day money-back guarantee on the pricing page conflicts with the Terms’ “all sales are deemed final.”
  • Cancelling deletes your content; the $17-a-month Pause plan is the only way to keep it without a full plan (help center).
  • Share links work only into ClickFunnels accounts (help center).

Who should pick it, who should not

Pick ClickFunnels if you sell courses, coaching or info products, your business runs on funnels with upsells and checkout, and you want email, courses and a store in one account with no platform cut of sales. Start monthly or use the trial until you’re sure, given the annual cancellation terms.

Skip it if you run a local service business that needs calling and texting, you need automations but don’t want to pay $197 a month, or you want pages you can take to another platform. For a simple ad page, a landing page builder or your current website builder costs far less.

Alternatives worth a look

  • systeme.io: a free-forever plan with 2,000 contacts and 3 funnels, then $17 a month billed monthly, with 0% transaction fees. It scores 3 out of 10 by our rubric too, since no page export is documented.
  • GoHighLevel: built for agencies running many client accounts, with texting and calling billed per use. See our GoHighLevel review and the GoHighLevel alternatives, which include ClickFunnels.
  • Leadpages or Unbounce: if you only need ad pages, not checkout and courses. Compare them in Unbounce vs Leadpages.
  • A website with a CRM: our website builder with a CRM page compares 10 options, from HubSpot’s free tools to WordPress.

Questions people ask

How much does ClickFunnels cost?

Launch is $97 a month billed monthly or $970 a year, Scale $197 a month or $1,970 a year, Optimize $297 a month or $2,970 a year, and Dominate $5,997 a year with no monthly option. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial.

Does ClickFunnels have a 30-day money-back guarantee?

The pricing page says so, but the Terms updated January 18, 2026 say all sales are deemed final and limit 30-day refunds to hard goods. The help center's refund article gives a 30-day request window subject to the Terms. Get any refund promise in writing before you pay.

How do I cancel ClickFunnels without being charged again?

Cancel at least 10 days before your next billing period, per the Terms. The last month isn't prorated, and an annual plan cancelled early earns a credit rather than a refund, with a possible fee equal to your discount.

What happens to my funnels if I cancel ClickFunnels?

They're deactivated and the final cancel button deletes all your content. To keep funnels without a full plan, the Pause plan costs $17 a month and stores funnels, courses and integrations offline.

Can I export my ClickFunnels pages?

No. Funnels share only into other ClickFunnels accounts, and no page, funnel or blog export is documented. Contacts, orders and products do export, which is why ClickFunnels scores 3 out of 10 on our exit score.

Does ClickFunnels take a cut of sales?

No. ClickFunnels takes no percentage of your sales, though your payment processor's fees still apply.
