Best of 2026
Website builder with a CRM: 10 options compared (2026)
The short answer
HubSpot is the best starting point for most small businesses: its free tools give up to 2 users a CRM with 1,000 contacts plus a website of up to 30 pages. Zoho Sites (Basic, $8 a month billed yearly for 5 pages) with Zoho CRM's free 3-user plan is the cheapest pair for a small team. GoHighLevel is built and priced for agencies more than single businesses. If you want to own your site, build on WordPress or a website builder and add a separate CRM such as Pipedrive.
Web Building also builds websites for clients. That never changes our picks, their order or what we say about a platform. How we make money
The quick answer
For most small businesses, the cheapest working setup is a free CRM plus a simple website. HubSpot’s free tools give you both in one login: a CRM for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts, and a site of up to 30 pages, with HubSpot branding. For 3 users at the lowest cost, pair Zoho Sites with Zoho CRM’s free plan.
GoHighLevel, Keap and ClickFunnels do more, but start between $970 and $2,988 a year, and none documents a way to take your pages with you. If owning your site matters most, use WordPress or a builder you like plus a separate CRM such as Pipedrive.
This page draws on vendors’ pricing pages and help centers, not our own testing. We have no affiliate deal with any CRM vendor.
Two ways to get a website and a CRM
Route 1: an all-in-one platform
HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Zoho, systeme.io and ClickFunnels put the CRM and the pages in one account. Keap fits here too, though it builds landing pages and funnels, not full websites.
- Pros: one login, one bill, and site forms that feed the CRM with no connector.
- Cons: the website side is usually weaker than a dedicated builder, page caps are common, and most have no supported page export, so leaving means rebuilding.
Route 2: a website builder plus a separate CRM
You build on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or another builder, then connect Pipedrive, Salesforce Starter or monday CRM. Or you use the contact tools already inside Wix or Squarespace.
- Pros: you choose each tool on its merits and can swap one without losing the other. We build on WordPress every week, and a WordPress site moves to any WordPress host as-is.
- Cons: two bills, two logins, and you must connect your forms to the CRM. Pipedrive, for one, has no official Wix, WordPress or Squarespace app.

Each option in more detail
1. HubSpot: best free CRM with a website attached
For: one or two people who want a free CRM and a small site together.
Website: drag-and-drop pages with free hosting and SSL. HubSpot doesn’t sell domains, but connecting yours is free. Free and Starter cap the site at 30 website pages and 30 landing pages; the cap rises only on Content Hub Professional, from $500 a month with 3 seats.
CRM: contacts, deal pipelines, forms, email marketing and live chat for 2 users and 1,000 contacts, free. Starter is $7 a seat a month billed yearly ($10 billed monthly) as a new-customer promo; the regular price is $20, and HubSpot doesn’t say what you pay after the promo. Starter removes branding and adds 15 pipelines and 50 workflows (automations).
Catch: HubSpot branding on free pages, emails and chat. Exit score: 7/10, the best of the all-in-ones. Read our HubSpot review or HubSpot vs Zoho.
2. GoHighLevel: best for agencies running client accounts
For: agencies running many clients from one account, often under their own brand (white label). Single businesses usually get it through an agency.
Website: websites, sales funnels, blogs and stores on every plan, with no page limit stated on the pricing page.
CRM: unlimited contacts and users, pipelines, workflows, two-way texting and calling. Starter is $97 a month billed monthly or $970 a year, with 3 sub-accounts; unlimited sub-accounts start at $297 a month.
Catch: usage is billed on top: $0.675 per 1,000 emails, $0.00747 per text segment, $1.15 a month per local number, and a one-time $22.50 A2P 10DLC registration (required by US carriers for business texting) for low-volume brands. HighLevel’s help center says there is no supported website export. Exit score: 3/10. See our GoHighLevel review and GoHighLevel vs HubSpot.
3. Zoho Sites + Zoho CRM, or Zoho One: best low-cost pair
For: small teams on a tight budget, and businesses already using Zoho apps.
Website: Zoho relaunched Sites in September 2026, priced per site and billed yearly: Lite $1 a month (1 page), Basic $8 (5 pages), Plus $15 (25 pages), Advanced $40 (100 pages). No free plan, just a 15-day trial. Which plans include a custom domain isn’t clear on the pricing table, so check.
CRM: Zoho CRM Free covers 3 users and 5,000 records, with 150 emails a day and 5 workflow rules. Standard is $14 per user a month billed yearly ($20 billed monthly). A Zoho CRM form on a Zoho Sites page adds each submission to the CRM. Zoho One, the app bundle, is $90 per user a month with yearly licensing; Zoho’s pricing page doesn’t confirm the new Sites plans are included.
Catch: small page caps and monthly form limits (500 submissions on Basic). Exit score: 6/10. Read our Zoho Sites review.
4. Keap: best for automation and payments, if you already have a site
For: service businesses that want CRM, email automation, invoices and payments in one tool.
Website: no full builder or blog. Landing pages and sales funnels publish to one subdomain of your domain, such as offers.yourbusiness.com.
CRM: one all-features plan from $249 a month billed yearly ($2,988 a year) or $299 billed monthly, with 2 users included, $39 a month per extra user, and a price that rises with your contact count.
Catch: Keap’s own pages disagree on the implementation fee. The pricing page says implementation is required, a help article lists $1,500 to $3,500 packages, and a coaching page shows $500. Confirm the fee in writing before you sign. Annual contracts carry a $299 early termination fee.
5. systeme.io: best free plan for funnels and a blog
For: solo coaches and course sellers who want funnels, a blog and email for little or nothing.
Website: multi-page sites, funnels, a blog and courses. Free includes 3 funnels, 1 blog and 1 custom domain.
CRM: Free holds 2,000 contacts with unlimited email sends but 1 automation rule. Startup is $17 a month billed monthly (5,000 contacts); yearly billing gives “2 months free.” 0% transaction fees.
Catch: no phone or texting listed, pipelines unconfirmed, and no page or blog export documented.
6. ClickFunnels: best for selling info products through funnels
For: coaches and course creators whose business runs on sales funnels.
Website: funnels, a site with a blog, a store and courses. Launch includes 1 site and 5 custom domains; branding removal comes only on the top plan.
CRM: Launch is $81 a month billed yearly ($97 billed monthly) with 2 team members, 10,000 contacts and 1 pipeline, but no automations. Those start on Scale, $164 a month billed yearly ($197 billed monthly).
Catch: funnels copy only into other ClickFunnels accounts. Contacts, orders and products do export.
7. Pipedrive: best pipeline CRM to pair with any website
For: small sales teams that work from a visual deal pipeline.
Website: none. Web forms, a chatbot and live chat go on a site built elsewhere.
CRM: Lite is $14 a seat a month billed yearly (tech.co, a third-party site, lists $24 billed monthly), with 2,500 leads and deals per user. Growth, $39 billed yearly, adds email sync and automations.
Catch: web forms are built into Premium ($59 billed yearly) and Ultimate. A LeadBooster add-on for other plans is listed at $32.50 per company a month billed yearly; confirm it’s sold with your plan.
8. Salesforce Starter Suite: best free CRM from a big vendor
For: teams that want a big-name CRM to grow into, with a site built elsewhere.
Website: no builder; Free Suite and Starter include a landing page and sign-up form for lead capture.
CRM: Free Suite is $0 for 2 users and 100 marketing emails a month. Starter Suite is from $25 per user a month, the same starting price monthly or yearly. Pro Suite, from $100, is yearly contract only.
Catch: Free Suite goes inactive if nobody logs in for 60 days, and a third user means upgrading.
9. monday CRM: best for teams already on monday.com
For: teams of 3 or more already running projects on monday.com boards.
Website: none. WorkForms makes branded forms you embed on your site; each submission lands on a board.
CRM: Basic is $12 a seat a month billed yearly ($18 billed monthly), Standard $17 ($25). Every plan has a 3-seat minimum, so the smallest bill is $36 a month billed yearly. Basic caps active contacts and deals at 1,000.
Catch: a solo owner pays for 3 seats, and custom automations start on Standard.
10. Wix or Squarespace built-in contacts: enough for many very small businesses
For: a one-person business that wants one tool, not two.
Wix: every site gets a contact list fed by forms, sign-ups and purchases, plus Wix Inbox, Wix Automations and Wix Pipelines, a board for moving leads through stages. Light is $17 a month billed yearly with 4 lead-capture forms; Core, $29, adds online payments. Email marketing is a separate subscription (free tier: 200 emails a month).
Squarespace: every plan has a Contacts panel for subscribers, customers and form submissions, but no deal pipeline. Basic is $19 a month billed yearly ($25 billed monthly).
Catch: Wix doesn’t publish which plans include Pipelines. Exit scores: Wix 3/10, Squarespace 5/10. See Squarespace vs Wix.
What it costs over 3 years
Example 1: a solo business, 5-page site, about 500 contacts
| Setup | The math | 3-year total |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot free tools | $0 + $48.24 domain | $48.24 |
| systeme.io Free | $0 + $48.24 domain | $48.24 |
| Zoho Sites Basic + Zoho CRM Free | $8 x 36 = $288 + $48.24 | $336.24 |
| Wix Light, built-in contacts | $17 x 36 = $612 + $36.96 | $648.96 |
| HubSpot Starter, 1 seat, regular price | $20 x 36 = $720 + $48.24 | $768.24 |
| GoHighLevel Starter | $970 x 3 = $2,910 + $48.24 | $2,958.24 + usage |
| Keap | $2,988 x 3 = $8,964 + $48.24 | $9,012.24 + setup |
If HubSpot’s promo price held for all 36 months, 1 seat would be $7 x 36 = $252 + $48.24 = $300.24, but the post-promo price isn’t published, so we priced the regular $20 rate. GoHighLevel usage adds up even at low volume: 5,000 emails a month is $3.375 a month ($121.50 over 3 years), one local number is $1.15 x 36 = $41.40, and texting registration is $22.50 once. That’s $185.40 before a single text or call.
Example 2: a 3-person team, about 3,000 contacts
| Setup | The math | 3-year total |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho Sites Basic + Zoho CRM Free (3 users) | $288 + $48.24 | $336.24 |
| WordPress (Bluehost Starter) + Pipedrive Lite, 3 seats | $143.64 + $36.96 + (3 x $14 x 36 = $1,512) | $1,692.60 |
| Zoho Sites Basic + Zoho CRM Standard, 3 users | $288 + (3 x $14 x 36 = $1,512) + $48.24 | $1,848.24 |
| WordPress (Bluehost Starter) + monday CRM Standard, 3 seats | $180.60 + (3 x $17 x 36 = $1,836) | $2,016.60 |
| HubSpot Starter, 3 seats, regular price | 3 x $20 x 36 = $2,160 + $48.24 | $2,208.24 |
| GoHighLevel Starter | $2,910 + $48.24 | $2,958.24 + usage |
| Keap, 2 users + 1 extra | $8,964 + ($39 x 36 = $1,404) + $48.24 | $10,416.24 + setup |
Seats are the big swing: HubSpot, Pipedrive and monday CRM grow with every person, while GoHighLevel’s price stays flat. Bluehost Starter is $3.99 a month on a 36-month term, then $9.99. Pipedrive Lite lacks web forms, and monday CRM Basic’s 1,000-record cap is too small here.
Lock-in: what you keep if you leave
Records usually leave easily; pages are the hard part. Our exit scores rate what you can take with you, out of 10.
| Option | Exit score | Website pages | CRM contacts |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | 7/10 | Static HTML export | Full CSV or Excel export |
| Zoho Sites + Zoho CRM | 6/10 | Static HTML zip (not confirmed on the new Sites) | CSV or Excel, plus a full backup |
| GoHighLevel | 3/10 | No supported export | CSV, latest note only |
| Keap | 3/10 by our rubric | No export documented | CSV without tags and notes |
| systeme.io | 3/10 by our rubric | No export documented | CSV, file deleted after 3 days |
| ClickFunnels | 3/10 by our rubric | Copies to ClickFunnels accounts only | Contacts, orders, products |
| Wix | 3/10 | No export | CSV, 50,000 per file |
| Squarespace | 5/10 | Pages and one blog to a WordPress file | Contacts export |
| WordPress (self-hosted) | 10/10 | Everything | Depends on the CRM you pair |
Pipedrive, Salesforce and monday CRM don’t host your site. Pipedrive exports leads, deals, people, activities and notes; monday CRM’s account export leaves out the emails and activities timeline.
Two habits help. Keep your domain at a domain registrar you control, and export your contacts during the free trial to see what comes out. Our guide to leaving your website builder and the website migration entry cover the rest.
Do you even need a CRM?
Maybe not yet. If you work alone with a few dozen active customers, a spreadsheet with name, phone, email, lead source, stage and next follow-up date does the job. So does the contact list in Wix or Squarespace, which fills itself from your forms. Signs you’ve outgrown that:
- Leads slip through because nobody followed up in time.
- More than one person updates the same customer.
- You type the same follow-up email again and again.
- You can’t say how many quotes you sent last month or won.
- Leads from forms, calls and texts live in different inboxes.
When two or three sound familiar, start on a free plan (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Bigin or Salesforce Free Suite) before paying. Real estate agents have extra needs; see free CRMs for real estate agents.
How to choose: a 5-step checklist
- Count your people. One or two users can stay free on HubSpot or Salesforce, three on Zoho CRM. monday CRM bills at least 3 seats.
- Size the site. Up to 30 pages fits HubSpot’s free plan, 5 fits Zoho Sites Basic. A content-heavy site belongs on a full builder or WordPress with a separate CRM.
- List the follow-up you need. A customer list: built-in contacts. A pipeline: Pipedrive, Bigin or HubSpot. Texting and calling in one place: GoHighLevel or Keap.
- Price 3 years, not 1 month. Use the regular price, not a promo, and add usage fees, extra users, setup fees and the domain.
- Test the exit during the trial. Export your contacts and check that the fields, tags and notes you need come out.

Questions people ask
What is the best website builder with a CRM?
For most small businesses, HubSpot: its free tools include a CRM for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts plus a website of up to 30 pages. If you need 3 free users or the lowest paid price, pair Zoho Sites with Zoho CRM's free plan.
Is there a free website builder with a CRM?
Yes. HubSpot's free tools and systeme.io's free plan (2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 blog) both include pages and a contact database. Wix's free plan also has its built-in contact list, but it shows Wix ads and uses a Wix web address.
Does Wix have a CRM?
Wix has built-in CRM tools: a contact list fed by your forms, Wix Inbox, Wix Automations and Wix Pipelines for moving leads through stages. Wix doesn't publish which site plans include Pipelines, so check before you rely on it.
Is GoHighLevel worth it for a single small business?
Usually only through an agency. Starter is $97 a month billed monthly with 3 sub-accounts, and emails, texts, phone numbers and most AI features are billed on top. Its exit score is 3/10 because sites and funnels can't be exported.
Can I connect a CRM to my WordPress site?
Yes. Most CRMs give you a form to embed on your pages, or connect through a plugin or a tool like Zapier. Pipedrive has no official WordPress app, so its embed form or a connector does the job.
How much does a CRM cost for a small business?
From $0 on HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Bigin or Salesforce Free Suite, to $299 a month billed monthly for Keap. Paid per-seat plans include monday CRM Basic at $12 a seat (3-seat minimum) and Pipedrive Lite at $14 a seat, both a month billed yearly, and Salesforce Starter from $25 per user.
