monday CRM review (2026): price, seat minimums and connecting your website
The short answer
monday CRM is a visual, no-code CRM built on monday.com boards, priced from $12 a seat a month billed yearly ($18 billed monthly), but seats come in buckets starting at 3, so the smallest bill is $36 a month. It has no website builder; you embed its WorkForms on your site. Three seats of Standard plus a WordPress site come to $2,268.60 over 3 years. It's a good fit for teams of 3 or more already working in monday.com, and a poor fit for a solo owner.
What monday CRM is and who it’s for
monday CRM is the sales product from monday.com, the work-management company founded in Tel Aviv in 2012 and listed on Nasdaq. A CRM (customer relationship management tool) keeps your leads and customers in one place. In monday CRM, contacts, deals and leads live on boards: tables you can also view as a pipeline, the row of stages a deal moves through. Most setup is no-code, meaning you add columns and rules by clicking, not by writing code.
This monday CRM review covers what a small business with a website needs to know: the real 3-year cost, how leads get from your site into monday CRM, and what you keep if you leave. We built it from monday’s pricing page, help center and terms, not from our own testing, and we have no affiliate deal with monday.com.
It’s right for teams already running projects on monday.com who want sales on the same boards, and for small teams of 3 or more who want a visual pipeline with forms. It has no website or landing page builder, so your site lives elsewhere.
Plans and prices
monday CRM lists prices per seat, but it sells them “per group of seats and not per seat.” A seat is one paid user login. The plans and pricing help article says plans “start at a minimum of 3 seats, and then ascend in multiples of 5,” so a 4-person team buys the 5-seat bucket. The seat picker on the pricing page offers 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100 and 200+ seats, and the pricing FAQ sends teams over 40 users to sales.
| Plan | Per seat a month, yearly (monthly) | Smallest bill, 3 seats yearly | Contacts and deals | Automations a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $12 ($18) | $36 a month | 1,000 | None listed |
| Standard | $17 ($25) | $51 a month | 10,000 | 250 actions |
| Pro | $28 ($41) | $84 a month | 100,000 (see below) | 25,000 |
| Ultimate | Custom quote | Not published | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Every plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card. There’s no free CRM plan. Prices exclude tax.
- Basic: contact, deal and lead boards with 1 workspace, 1 dashboard, 5 columns per board and 5 GB of storage. No automations or integrations are listed.
- Standard adds two-way Gmail and Outlook sync, a single timeline of emails, calls, meetings and notes, iOS and Android apps, integrations, up to 3 free guests and 20 GB of storage. Automations (rules that do a task for you, such as assigning a new lead) start here.
- Pro adds mass emails with tracking, templates and sequences, Google Calendar sync and 100 GB of storage.
- Ultimate, monday’s new name for its Enterprise tier, adds lead scoring, advanced permissions, HIPAA compliance and 24/7 prioritized support. monday’s Enterprise plan has a 12-month minimum term.
The pricing page also shows “Standard AI” and “Pro AI” versions that include AI credits.
What it really costs over 3 years
We count 36 months at the billed-yearly price. For the website we use the same two baselines as the rest of this site:
- WordPress on Bluehost Starter: $432.60. Hosting is $3.99 x 36 = $143.64 on a 36-month term (it renews at $9.99), plus $36.96 for two domain renewals after the free first year, plus $252 for one Google Workspace inbox.
- Squarespace Core or Wix Core: $1,332.96. The plan is $29 x 36 = $1,044 billed yearly, plus $36.96 for the domain and $252 for the inbox.
monday CRM includes no domain, hosting or email inbox. Because of the 3-seat minimum, 1 user and 3 users pay exactly the same.
1 user or 3 users (the 3-seat bucket)
| Plan | The math | CRM alone | + WordPress | + Squarespace or Wix |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 3 x $12 x 36 | $1,296 | $1,728.60 | $2,628.96 |
| Standard | 3 x $17 x 36 | $1,836 | $2,268.60 | $3,168.96 |
| Pro | 3 x $28 x 36 | $3,024 | $3,456.60 | $4,356.96 |
Billed monthly, the same 3 seats cost more: Basic is 3 x $18 x 36 = $1,944, Standard 3 x $25 x 36 = $2,700 and Pro 3 x $41 x 36 = $4,428 over 3 years.
One more person moves you up a bucket. Standard for a team of 4 or 5 is 5 x $17 x 36 = $3,060 billed yearly, or $3,492.60 with a WordPress site.
For a solo owner, that minimum is the whole story. Basic plus WordPress ($1,728.60) costs more than Salesforce Starter for 1 user plus WordPress ($1,332.60) or Pipedrive Lite for 1 seat plus WordPress ($936.60), though Pipedrive Lite has no web forms without an add-on. For a team of exactly 3, monday Standard plus WordPress ($2,268.60) is in the same range as 3 seats of Pipedrive Lite plus WordPress ($1,944.60).
Getting leads from your website into monday CRM
WorkForms is monday’s form builder and the main way in. You can add conditional questions, your logo and colors, and custom welcome and thank-you pages, and AI can translate a form into up to 50 languages. Share it as a link, embed it in a web page, or post it on social media. Each submission becomes a new item on a board, such as a lead.
WorkForms are “currently available as part of your monday.com plan,” and monday says some features may require payment in the future. Webflow’s integration page says hiding monday branding needs Pro or above. Form and submission limits and spam protection aren’t documented.
Integrations and Zapier need Standard or higher. monday works on Zapier, a connector service that passes form entries between apps, including Zapier’s free tier, where it checks for new entries every 15 minutes. But Zapier and webhook workflows on the monday side need Standard. On Basic, embedding WorkForms is your only route.
| Platform | Official route | Other options |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | No plugin; paste the WorkForms embed code | Interacti Forms Connector For monday (third-party, fewer than 10 installs); Zapier |
| Wix | No monday-built app | “monday.com by KeemApps” (third-party, $20 a month after a 7-day trial); Zapier |
| Squarespace | No official integration; WorkForms in a code block | Zapier templates |
| Webflow | No monday.com app in the Webflow Marketplace; Code Embed (paid Webflow plan) | Zapier, Make, n8n or the API |
We build on WordPress every week, and pasting an embed code into a page is a normal WordPress task that needs no extra plugin. monday CRM has no website chat widget of its own; chat tools connect through third-party integrations.
What you can take with you if you leave
monday CRM doesn’t host your website, so your pages are never at risk, and your domain stays at your own domain registrar. Our exit scores rate website platforms, so monday CRM doesn’t get one. Your CRM data is what counts.
- Board export: any board, such as contacts, deals or leads, exports to Excel, up to 10,000 items per export, with updates and subitems if you want them (board export help article).
- Account export: account admins can download the whole account as a zip of all boards and files, once every 24 hours.
- What’s left out: the account export doesn’t support the Emails & Activities timeline and skips archived boards and workdocs (account export help article). Board exports to Excel skip Auto Number columns, and Enterprise admins can block exports by non-admins.
- After you leave: monday’s terms of service say it is “Customer’s sole liability to export the Customer Data prior to such termination.” monday may keep or delete your data, and a read-only mode isn’t guaranteed.
The missing email timeline matters if your team logs customer conversations in monday CRM. Keep the originals in your own inbox. If you ever move the website as well, our guide to leaving your website builder covers that side.
Gotchas
- Seat buckets. The minimum is 3, and a 4-person team pays for 5. To drop to a smaller bucket, you have to deactivate users first.
- Changing seats restarts your term. The terms say “Any changes to the number of Users within a certain Account, will restart the Subscription Term.”
- A short refund window. Yearly plans cancelled within 30 days of the first purchase get a prorated refund. After that, fees are non-refundable, and there are no refunds for downgrades.
- Renewal timing. Plans renew automatically. Cancel a yearly plan at least 30 days before it ends, and expect any discount to end at renewal.
- Basic is thin. 1,000 contacts and deals, 1 workspace, 1 dashboard, 5 columns per board, and no automations or integrations listed.
- Mixed numbers on monday’s own pages: 33% vs 18% for the yearly discount, 100,000 vs unlimited for Pro’s limit, and a page description that says plans start “from $10 per user a month,” which matches no listed price.
Who should pick monday CRM, and who should not
Pick it if your team already plans its work on monday.com boards, you’re a team of 3 or more that wants a visual, no-code pipeline, or your website lives elsewhere and you only need forms that drop leads onto a board. Standard is the sensible starting point, since it adds email sync, automations and integrations.
Skip it if you work alone, since you’d pay for 3 seats, you want the CRM to build or host your website, or you need your email history to export along with your contacts.

Does monday CRM have a free plan?
No. monday's FAQ says the free option is a 14-day trial, with no credit card needed.
Is monday CRM's yearly discount 18% or 33%?
