Terms of use
The short answer
Web Building is free to read and use for general information. We work to keep facts current, but prices change and we make no guarantees, so confirm details on the vendor's site before you buy. Some links are affiliate links, and these terms are governed by Wyoming law.

Who these terms are with
Webbuilding.net (“Web Building”) is run by Spencer Gasselin LLC, a Wyoming LLC doing business as Rank Summit Agency (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using the site
You may read the site, share links to it and quote short passages if you credit Web Building and link to the page. Please don’t:
- Copy or republish whole articles, tables or tools.
- Scrape the site in bulk or try to disrupt it.
- Use the contact form to send spam or harmful content.
Information only
Everything on Web Building is general information to help you plan a website. It is not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice. Pages on topics like website laws in the US are a starting point, not a substitute for a lawyer.
Prices and facts change
Each page shows the month its facts were checked, and we re-check every three months. Vendors can change prices, plans and features at any time without telling us. Always confirm details on the vendor’s own site before you buy. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it and note the date.
Tools and estimates
Our tools, including the builder finder, cost calculator and exit scores, give estimates based on published information and stated assumptions. A 3-year cost that includes domain renewals and transaction fees is still an estimate, not a quote. Your real costs depend on your choices and the vendor’s terms.
Affiliate links and other websites
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them. See our affiliate disclosure. When you leave our site, the other site’s terms and privacy policy apply. Any purchase is between you and that vendor, and we aren’t responsible for its products, service or content.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes any warranty that the content is accurate, complete or current, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including decisions about which platform or plan to buy.
Our content and trademarks
The text, tables and tools on Web Building are owned by Spencer Gasselin LLC. Product names and logos belong to their owners. Mentioning a brand doesn’t mean it endorses us or that we have a partnership with it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions go to connect@webbuilding.net. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
